sorry for not having time to update my blog. i am really busy lately with my midterm examination. and, it's done! banyak nak share but for now let me share my recent email! have a look..

i am a foursquare superuser! memang susah nak dapatkan bendalah ni as if macam nak hamik spm je! but still, i have the power!.. to change all those unwanted things and duplication yang banyak sangat! so for you guys yang nak join tolong-menolong dalam hal susun-menyusun @ organized benda-benda macam ni.. amiklah exam ni sendiri!

htc desire 2.3.3 gingerbread official update

this is a little review on the htc desire android gingerbread 2.3.3 official update released by htc. you can get this download from the htcdev.com. so i list out some of the changes that i spotted on the new update

i have no idea what is the downloads for

new browser interface

changes:

1. ui more smooth

2. htc clock widget improved

3. in the mean time, no problem with the call, sms, gps, bluetooth, wifi and hotspot

4. internal memory still no improvement (although custom rom can manipulate it to get higher internal memory)

5. wallpaper had been deleted (but included in the update file) but live wallpaper untouched

6. flashlight and teeter deleted, but can install it via .apk

7. internet browser changed a bit

8. battery life span slightly improved

9. messages can be edited easily (they put the magnifying cursor)

10. can restart phone when hold down the power button

xperia play

this is the new xperia play, from sony ericsson. it is the first playstation certified android, which is developed special for playing game and have the playstation experience. coming with 5.1 megapixel camera together with front facing camera in it. (with auto focus too) to anyone who are into gaming, you can obviously buy this phone!

xperia x8

just an entry especially for the xperia x8. i was trying a mid-range of android phone. this is sony android, current version of 2.1. it is the phone which is came out after xperia x10. before i tell the details, let see the specifications:

size: 99.0 x 54.0 x 15.0 mm / 3.9 x 2.1 x 0.6 inchess

weight: 104.0g / 3.7oz

screen: 320 x 480 pixels (hvga) / 3" capacitive touchscreen

battery: 1200mah

camera: 3.2 megapixel, no auto-focus

with wi-fi, bluetooth, a-gps, four corner home screen, onscreen qwerty keyboard, 3.5 mm audio jack, fm radio with rds.

the price for xperia x8 was very affordable! although the cpu used was only 600 mhz arm 11 processor, the flow of the screen changes in the phone was quite surprising! which is quite smooth compared to other mid-range android phone. and the internal phone memory available was very large, which is 128 mb, compared to my desire, which had only 70 mb free when i first buy it. any how, the camera was a bit disappointing. 3.2 megapixel with no auto focus, the camera quality itself was ok, but to take a picture with no auto focus was very hard as the subject was hard to focus. you can easily get blurry picture if you are not familiar with camera.

conclusion

the xperia x8 was a great phone especially for new android phone user. although it is very hard for a new user to understand the android os, a few hour of playing it will get you better. and hopefully sony will upgrade their old android phones, alas, people will hate you if you're not doing so.

xperia arc

the latest from sony ericsson. the xperia arc. the specification are stunning! can't wait to try it! such a nice and very thin phone with 4.2" led black-lit screen (they called it the "reality display"), android os (not sure which version of android, rumors - it was 2.4), 8.1 megapixel camera with exmor r sensor, with geo tagging, face detection, 720p video record, built-in agps, wifi, bluetooth, hdmi connection, timescape still available and this time coming with pinch to zoom! haha (lambat!) this phone will be on the market at the q1 2011. available in midnight blue and misty silver. (macam promotion la pulak!)

*still kalah kepada phone lain yang dah ada, coming with dual-core but it is great for sony to came out with such design and a built- in camera with great sensor! it's a phone battle everyone! (maybe sony will think of tablet pc such as ipad, playbook, xoom, cause htc are on theie way of making one. stay update, people!

htc desire new update!

so now htc had releases new update for htc desire, version 2.13.707.2 fota update. i've been goggled for the change log and had found none. it is better for me to see the change log first before i do my update cause i don't want any corruption to the settings. so, lets hope for best!

update 1:39 pm, 8/12/2010, ms:
i finally updated my phone from version 2.13.707.1 to .2 a couple of hours ago. there are no major change. i found out that the update are for the market, (from the official htc web). so far, there is no file corruption to the phone. i will update if there's any.
